The Foundation of the Festival of European Satire in Poland, in association with the Polish Department of Nuclear Energy and the Hononary Patronage of the Minister of Climate and Enviroment organised the International Albert Einstein Satirical Drawing Competition to mark the 100th Anniverasy of awarding the 1921 Nobel Prize to the great German-born physicist in 1922.
It comprised of two catagories – Caricature and The Peaceful Use of Nuclear Energy. Nearly 700 works by 376 artists from 52 countries were received, of which 167 works by 130 artists from 42 countries were selected for the judging round.
Chicane was represented in both catagories with my energetic Einstein ‘scribbleature’ being awarded one of five Honorary Distinction Diplomas.The Exhibition runs from 12-31 March 2022.
